Abstract


Dysfunctional uterine bleeding is considering one of the most common problem facing perimenopausal woman and affect on all dimension of woman’s life. This bleeding could be ovulatory or anovoulatory and resulting from hormonal disturbance such as estrogen and progesterone withdrawal. This excessive bleeding affects on hemodynamic status of the woman and cause anemia. So the complications of this problem reflect on physical, emotional, psychological, social and sexual aspects of woman life. That makes woman suffering from Dysfunctional uterine bleeding need emergency management in order to safe woman’s life and avoid adverse complications that may end woman life if not actually treated.
