Abstract

In this paper, A novel approaches has been introduced where a preplan study introduce the optimal distribution based on a multi-objective problem that satisfy win-win situation for a customer and utility side. A multi-objective problem is introduced to solve the electric vehicle charging scheduling problem in electrical distribution systems. Growing number of electric vehicles usage causes different effects on the power grid, such as greater power demand, increase of the short-circuit currents, potential violations of the voltage level regulated limits. The projected method aims to satisfy the customer needs and utility restrictions by reducing the total operational costs and maintaining the voltage values within the accepted range of the electrical distribution systems. As electric vehicles are volatile load, there has been an increase in the need for the charging infrastructure for electric vehicle charging, so a new objective methodology based on the multi-objective problem is introduced. Thus, there is a great need to develop such charging approaches, time period would diminish peak load growing by shifting charging load to low cost hours by defining an optimal schedule for electric vehicle charging. The efficiency of the proposed methodology using the metaheuristic method, this method called the Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm (AOA) is verified utilizing standard IEEE 69 bus system. The results show that the accomplished solution offers an optimal operation of the electrical distribution systems and applies operational constrictions.
