Travelling wave solutions for hierarchy of nonlinear evolution equation description propagation pulse in optical fibers

Abstract
In this paper, the improved extended modified tanh function method is applied to hierarchy of nonlinear partial evolution equation that model the propagation of a pulse in optical fibers with first-order dispersion (M=1). Bright, dark and singular soliton solutions are obtained. Also, periodic singular solutions and elliptic Weierstrass doubly periodic type solution are acquired. Graphs of some of the obtained results are presented.
