Biography
Dr. Hala Rashad Ahmed Mahmoud (Hala R. Mahmoud) received her Ph.D. degree in catalysis in 2012 from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. In 2017, she was promoted to be an Assistant Professor of Physical chemistry (catalysis). In 2022, she was promoted to be a Professor of Physical chemistry. Research interests include Catalysis, Nanomaterials, Metal oxides, Biodiesel, Material science, Wastewater treatment, luminescent nano-sensor for latent human prints and anticounterfeiting application, Preparation and Characterization. Dr. Hala Rashad has supervised 4 research student that led to M.S. and Ph.D. degrees being awarded in physical chemistry, material sciences, and catalysis. She has participated in several funded scientific projects, international conferences, training workshops, starting from 2012. She published 24 papers (Scopus) with h-index = 12 and total citations = 476 in 402 documents. According to Google Scholar, h-index = 12, i10-index = 16, total citations = 525 and the total papers = 24. From the Research gate analysis, h-index = 13, the Research Interest Score = 246.1 and total citations = 464. From Web of Science analysis, h-index = 12 and total citations = 482. On 19-October 2021, Hala R. Mahmoud is listed in Stanford University`s list in Materials and Chemical Engineering of the top 2% of the world`s most -cited scientists in various disciplines. On 7-April 2022, Dr. Hala Rashad won the State Incentive Award in Chemical Sciences from Academy of Scientific Research, Awards 2021. On 11-October 2022, Hala R. Mahmoud is listed in the Stanford University (California, USA) "Ranking of the World Scientists: World's Top 2% Scientists".
