Biography
Dr. Mazen Erfan brings about 13+ years of R&D/Engineering experience in Optics, Micro-Systems/Photonics, Optofluidics, MEMS and Nanotechnology. Mazen received the B.Sc. and the M.Sc. from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He obtained his PhD from Universite Gustave Eiffel, Paris, France in 2019. Winner of the Best PhD Business Thesis Prize 2020 among the university and 3rd place winner in the International Contest of InnovAtion (iCAN'18) in Hong Kong. Authored 40+ scientific publications, 5+ patents/patent applications and 1 book chapter.
